Chai is an AI turnover verification layer for short-term rental hosts who cannot be in two places at once. The cleaner works through a photo checklist and uploads shots of each area before marking a turnover done.
Chai's AI checks those photos against the host's standard, flags anything off, and keeps every photo on record for insurance claims and guest disputes. It catches the hair in the drain, missing towels, staging issues, and small details that can cost a five-star review. It sits on top of tools hosts already use, including Turno, Hostfully, and Airbnb, rather than replacing them.
Ellie F. manages her own rental remotely from LA and built Chai from the exact problem she lives: inconsistent cleaner photos, the need to be on call during every turnover, and issues found by guests instead of by her.
